To the Smith Family,
Terry, Jackie, Joy, Mark and Roger,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of my best childhood friend. We had so many great times together growing up. 39th street basketball courts. We enjoyed talking about his Cross Country Meets and Track story at WWHS. The time we drove him to the Ohio border to meet an Air Force buddy that was driving him back to Texas. How about is Yellow Volkswagon with the 37 Ford kit on the front. Saturday afternoon watching the old Gladiator movies. Most of all I will remember him as my best friend. I will miss him dearly and know that someday we will be together again. Jay, I love you pal and I will always remember our times together.
Your Pal..

I remember the yellow VW bug Jay had. It had the modified front. I really liked that car. I was going to get one when I grew up. He & my brother Mike went to the Moorestown Mall & Mike told me it got stolen there. It wasn't even my car & it broke my heart. He was always nice to me, Mike's baby sister.

So sorry to hear of Jay’s passing. I remember when he came to our high school reunion some years back. He came in wearing a suit and tie with sunglasses and at first I didn’t recognize him. I don’t think I was the only one. He made it so much fun trying to figure out who he was. God bless him.

Please accept my deepest Condolences. Bruce was one of my first Face Book Friends.
A Psalm of David.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

My dad is my best friend in the whole wide world. I love him more than I can describe. He’s one in a million. “No sweat” he would say at times. I’ll remember all of the good ol’ days and the new. My heart is broken and will be broken for a while, but I know he’s in peace. He took care of us and things that he could help us with. He has so much to offer and he’s not done yet. I will continue being here for him. My favorite memory of him was seeing him so happy when he wake us up in the morning on weekends and telling us to get ready to go in the van for a drive out to nowhere...just a long drive to somewhere and back home. I LOVE YOU DAD! I miss you. goodnight and GOD bless you. Love your, daughter (mija) Eloisa
