~~Frank J. Vitarelli, 78 passed away peacefully on November 16, 2017. Frank was born on January 18, 1939 and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. where he was in the paper stock business with his father Jerome throughout the 60's and 70's. Frank later moved to Florida and worked various positions until retirement. He traveled between Florida and New Jersey where he always managed to visit his family and always enjoyed a big Italian dinner. Frank was an avid reader of the daily news. He loved sports and loved going to the race track, both horses and dogs. He also loved to play the lottery. He was predeceased by his beloved mother Bridget (Robilotto) Vitarelli, and his father Jerome Vitarelli. He is survived by his sisters Catherine Marra of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Theresa Scott (Joe) of Manhasset, NY, Patricia Mazza of Toms River, NJ, Bridget Vitarelli of Staten Island, NY and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the staff at Seacrest Nursing home for taking such good care of him these past 2 years. In lieu of flowers donations can be made online to the Alzheimers Foundation of America at www.alzfdn.org
Cremation is private. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Saturday, January 13th, 11 am, at St. Theresa Church, Radio Rd., Little Egg Harbor, NJ.
