Obituary of Michael Bissell

~~Michael Bissell passed away on the night of June 9, 2017 at the age of 70 after a hard fought battle with cancer. 
Michael is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia Bissell, son Greg Bissell, daughter Michelle Vitiello, granddaughter Brielle Gulya, grandson Ryan Gulya, sisters Roz Gurkas and Carolyn Morano.  He is preceded in death by his father Michael Bissell and mother Carrie Bissell.  Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all.
Michael was born on January 17, 1947 in Newark, NJ to Carrie Bissell and Michael Bissell.  He graduated from The University of Central Connecticut in 1970.  He had a successful career at Linseis Incorporated where he worked for over 35 years.  He married Patricia Bissell in 1971.  They moved to Pine Beach in 1976 where they raised their children Greg and Michelle in the home they shared for 41 years.
After moving to Pine Beach, Michael and his family shared a love for boating on the Toms River and Barnegat Bay.  It is something that brought Michael much joy for over 40 years.  He especially loved sailing and was an active member of the Pine Beach Yacht Club.
The family has elected to have a small private ceremony to celebrate Michael’s memory.
