It doesn't seem real yet that this is possible. Larry and I spent many MANY summers bouncing all around Wildwood. My parents trusted Larry implicitly but thank goodness there's no evidence of the raucous we created. haha I always felt so safe with him, and we always had the best time just being teens in the 80s. He was the kindest, gentlest person I knew. I'll never forget you Lar. Linda Rey.

Farewell my fishing friend. You and I had the mutual feeling that nothing beat a good day of fishing. Thank you for sending me all the “Jim’s bait shop” shirts. You will always be remembered as special guy with a great smile and good heart.

We remember Larry just like these great pictures we see. Always a smile on his face, happy to see you. He was simply someone who always seemed to be in a good mood. This was true when he was young, an adult… it didn’t matter. Larry was genuine and welcoming.
We shared great times at the DiFolco home in Chappaqua: picnics and holidays; Sundays at Grandma’s on Barnhardt (can’t forget the dump-no better guy to play King of the Mountain on the salt hills of the Barnhardt dump then cousin Larry!) as well as vacations spent at the Jersey shore. Of course this ultimately became his home.
Larry was there for his Uncle Jack on his last day and helped make sure he got home. We will always remember and be grateful. We are glad Larry made it home as well.
Larry and Lynn took great care of his Mom when the opportunity arose. That’s just who they are.
None of us were there, but we all “virtually” loved the pictures of him, Dave and Mary Lynne celebrating his birthday last summer. It was great seeing it at the time. More precious now, for sure. Nothing like being with family.
Thanks for everything, Larry, and we’ll do our best to remember to keep smiling at each other.
Love,
Aunt Judy, Uncle Jim, John and Yeon, Jeff and Maribel, Julia and Joe

My condolences to the family. You will be missed. I met Larry through my wife Becky who is related to Larry from her mother side. Since the first day we met, Larry and I bonded very well and immediately started discussing about fishing since it’s one of my hobbies as well. He took me fishing one day in his boat out in NJ and we had a great time and catch a few monsters that day. We would always talk about doing a fishing trip together out in Montauk since it’s one our favorite place to go fishing. I wish we could have done that together. Such a great guy. I will always remember you buddy especially when I’m out fishing in Montauk.

Larry was such a big part of my family's life. Larry babysat my sister and I for years. His favorite place to take us was to Gilligan's Island Mini Golf. He took it so seriously, and is the only person I know who ever managed to win the free game by putting the golf ball into the Todem Pole's mouth. Larry and his wife, Lynn were dear friends to my parents. I remember the first time Larry brought Lynn over to my parents for dinner. After they had left, my parents both agreed that "she was the one." Larry was always helping my parents. He seemed to genuinely enjoy it. Larry will be missed terribly. Such a great guy.
