Patricia Ann Christy (nee Purtle), 79, passed away on May 24, 2024, in Tuckerton, NJ. She was born on May 6, 1945, in Melrose, MA. Patricia was a devoted spouse to Cynthia Carves. She will be deeply missed by her children Cathleen (Paul) Hartigan, Christine (Mona) Christy, and Joseph Christy, as well as her grandchildren Shawn, Matthew, Katie, Daniel Hartigan, Joseph Skodzinski, Robert Bryan, and great-grandchildren Cody, Lacey, Ellie, Jude, and Emery. She is also survived by her brothers William (Joan), Robert (Sue), David (Carol), James Rowland, sister Barbara Englekraut and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia had a successful career working for the Bensalem School District Transportation and the Philadelphia Prison System as a Correctional Officer. Outside of work, she enjoyed being an avid Phillies fan, loved photography, and traveling on cruises with her friends.

Patricia will be forever remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father William, mother Olive, brother Richard, sister Joan, and brother-in-law Frank Englekraut.

A visitation will be held at John F. Givnish Funeral Home, located at 10975 Academy Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154 on Tuesday June 11, 2024, from 10:00am to 1:00pm, with a Life Celebration service to follow at 1:00pm.
