Our beloved mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend June Adora Ciociola, 81, of Egg Harbor City, NJ, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday, January 13, 2024. June was a beloved, feisty woman who adored her family.

Raised in North Arlington, NJ, she was born the daughter of Mary (Mazzie) Agnes and Francis Westmoreland on June 25, 1942. She worked as a server for over 20 years and in Atlantic City as a hotel operator. She enjoyed playing bingo and card games with her friends.

June is survived by her daughters, Junemarie Cook and Jody Platti, her son James Ciociola, her son-in-law Robert Cook, her nieces Sharon Ball and Donna John, her grandchildren Alexandra Hare, Michael James Platti, Daniel Platti, Julianne Platti, her brother and sister-in-law Fredrick and Kathy Ciociola, her niece Cindy and nephew Richard, and her cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, her close sister Mary (Babe) Ball, her brother-in-law Emmett Ball, and the love of her life husband, James Anthony Ciociola. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

The family will be having a private memorial in her honor.
