Daniel J. Duffy, 88, of Little Egg Harbor passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on September 28, 2023. He was able to celebrate his wedding anniversary of 63 years on September 24,2023 with his loving wife and children. It is a memory we will always treasure as a family.

Dan was born in Newark, NJ to Daniel J. Duffy and Helen Duffy (nee Burke) on July 22,1935. He proudly enlisted in the U.S. Army after graduating from Our Lady Of Good Counsel in 1954. Dan served in Korea (1954-1956) until honorably discharged.

He moved his family "down the shore" in 1970 and lived in Lavallette for many years before moving to Little Egg.

Dan had a long career in Retail until starting his own business as a " Tile Contractor". He truly had the ability to do anything.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents. He was a devoted husband to Maureen E. Duffy (nee Maguire) for 63 years and the best Dad ever to his three children; Daniel, Maureen and Jane Ellen. He also leaves behind one grandson; Daniel Joseph Duffy from Miami Florida. His brother; Dr. Stephen L. Duffy PHD from Las Vegas, Nevada, and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held 11 am Friday, October 6th at Saint Theresa Church in Little Egg Harbor.
