Obituary of Mark Alan Forrest

Mark Alan Forrest, a loving partner, father, grandfather, brother and uncle unexpectedly passed away on August 18, 2023. Mark is survived by his longtime partner, Natalie Quigley, his children, Cori and Matthew Forrest, step-daughter Erin Quigley, grandson Dylan Forrest. His brother, Dean Forrest wife Judy Forrest nieces and nephews Ryan Forrest, , Kimberly Forrest , Derek Forrest, Dawn Aversa, and Diana Faccas , He is predeceased by his father Charles Forrest, and mother Joyce lukcas , brother David Forrest and nephew Daniel Forrest. Mark was born in Newport News Virginia, on March 12, 1957. He graduated with an associates degree from Paul Smith’s College of Arts and Sciences in Paul Smith’s, New York. He worked for over 30 years as a color lab technician, and had recently retired. Mark was a gentle soul, with a kind heart ; a true giver. He enjoyed spending his time with his partner Natalie, his children, grandchildren, and his pets. He would find joy in the smallest things and was always willing to help solve a problem and lend some wisdom and kindness. His love and light will be greatly missed and impossible to replace. “I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” (Ettiene De Grellet) A service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 850 Railroad drive little egg harbor, NJ 08087 on august 31st, 2023 at 1pm. There will be visitation at the same location beginning at 12pm, His family will be present to welcome loved ones.
