It is with great sorrow, that the family of Madeline Therese Zielinski (nee Lowe, Smith) announce her sudden passing on Thursday, March 23 at the age of 68 years. Madeline relocated to Tuckerton in 1989 from her previous residence in West New York, NJ where she grew up.
Madeline was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in West New York, NJ, where she graduated from Memorial High School in 1972. In her high school years she was known for her exceptional artistic ability and was a talented majorette. She will forever be remembered for her quick wit, honesty, willingness to help anyone in need and her exceptional cooking. In her lifetime, she was a woman of many professions from phototypesetting, American Sign Language teacher, bartender and cook. Of all her professions, Madeline loved being a mother most and could be found volunteering at the schools, at Little League games, making homemade costumes, decorating for Christmas, cooking and baking. She was a master of family gatherings.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Justin (Jennifer) Lowe, Keith (Carrie) Lowe and Ryan (Ashley) Zielinski, grandchildren: Hannah, Ashley, Tyler, Brandon, Gavin, Colton, Charlotte, Caelyn and Avery, brother, Donald (Shari) Smith, sister, Janet (Paul) Flores, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her loving husband, David of 34 years and her parents, Eleanor and Donald Smith.
A Celebration of Madeline’s life will be held on Thursday, March 30th at Parkertown Firehouse 830 Railroad Ave, Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ from 1 to 5pm.
