Celebrating the Life Of Kevin M. Santry January 27, 1949 - July 11, 2022 Kevin Michael Santry passed away peacefully on Monday; July 11th surrounded by his loved ones. Kevin was the oldest sibling of five sisters born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Kathryn and James Santry. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years and best friend, Anne (Kirkutis Green-Santry), children: Charity, Andrew, Kathleen, and Caitlin and two grandchildren Logan and Maya. He is also survived by his sisters, Eileen Borkowski (Jimmy), Patricia Hopkins (Gordon), Mary Read (Ed), Colleen Henry (Chuck), and Denise Kalesnik (Eddie). He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Nancy Markovich, Jane Smith (Ron), Amy Cook (Steve) and loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and cousins. Kevin lived life to the fullest. A nurse of 40 years retiring from Jefferson University Hospital, he touched many of his patients’ lives with heartfelt compassion. He loved all the oddities, adventures, and back-alley findings of the world. He found joy in many interests and hobbies, some of which include fishing with his best bud ‘Chila’, mountain biking, traveling, gardening, and cooking. He was the fun dad and uncle who took all his nieces and nephews on adventures with him. He was genuinely curious about life and loved his people fiercely. He is known by his family, friends, and neighbors for his adventurous spirit, storytelling, and his ability to listen and connect with people from all walks of life. We will gather to celebrate Kevin’s life on August 12th at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lithuanian Cemetery in Bear Creek followed by a luncheon at 12 p.m. at the Holiday Inn - East Mountain Inn to share memories of his life.
