Obituary of John E. Heimburger
Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
John Heimburger - 64, passed away January 27, 2022. John was a loving father and grandfather, avid vinyl enthusiast and antiques collector, a man who lived a life full of love and corny jokes. John was born in New York 1957. He lived as a reckless youth who pushed boundaries and made fantastic memories. As a young adult he joined the Navy where he toured the world and enjoyed telling his family stories from these times.
At age 28 he met the love of his life and would begin his wildest adventure of all, fatherhood. When John met his wife, he would be fortunate to acquire 3 extra loves: his first experience with being a father. A year later the family would welcome his 4th child. John is survived by his ex-wife Margaret Heimburger, his 4 children: Rachel Sarno Nuss and her Husband Bryan, Holly Sarno Livio, Carmine Sarno and his partner Cyndi Frank, Jessica Heimburger, and her husband Kevin Goff, as well as his grandchildren Madelyn, Justin, Samuel, Payne, Cam, Mason, Lynze, Astrid, Kira, Ivy, River, Skye, and Autumn. John was a devoted family man who's only goal was to ensure that his loved ones were taken care of. John leaves his family with so many invaluable lessons; his work ethic, passion for family togetherness, incessant need to be right, antidotes for life and love, and so much more. John was as authentic as they came, and his fearlessness only paled in comparison to his thoughtfulness for others. John was a humble man who led a simple life.
To honor his wishes there will be no public memorial or services. In Lieu of flowers or gifts, please instead donate to the American Stroke Association at https://www.stroke.org/ or simply have a cold one and cheers to the legend that is John Heimburger.
