Dolores (Dory) Bohnert, 90, passed away at home on August 14, 2021. Dory was a loving, caring and a special person to everyone who knew her. She loved her family very much and enjoyed the years of family gatherings and celebrations in the house “that Jack built”. Dory and her husband built their house where they raised their 3 children and watched their families blossom into generations of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The holidays and birthday celebrations were always special at “Nannie’s” house. She was employed for many years at New Jersey Title Insurance Company and the Hamilton School District part-time. She loved going to the Jersey shore, traveling, gardening and attending her grandchildren and great-children’s dance recitals, soccer games and baseball games. She was a member of the Hamilton Senior Center, enjoyed going on bus trips and going out dancing on Friday nights with her friends. Dory is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Madeline Wysocki, her husband Jack, daughter Judy DellaVella, brother Donald Wysocki and son-in-law Eric Bubny. She is survived by her son Joe (Martha) and daughter Kathy Bubny, her beloved six grandchildren: Tracy (Nick), Christopher (Jennifer), Jennifer, Jason (Meredith), Jaimie and Joey. Dory was blessed with 15 great-children and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her cousin Bobbie, sister-in-law Doris and several nieces and nephews. Dory was cremated under the direction of Polhemus Cremation Services. A family celebration of Dory will be held at a later time. Her family requests donations be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
