James Anthony Ciociola of Egg Harbor City, at the age of 77, passed away peacefully at Meridian Health Center on October 25, 2016. James was born in Newark and resided in Barnegat for 36 years. He had a career in restaurant management and enjoyed fishing and football. He was known to most people as "Pop" because of his loving nature. James was a loving husband to his wife June Adore for 47 years. He was also a loving father to his 3 children: James, Junemarie, and Jodi, as well as a proud grandfather of his 4 grandchildren: Alexandra, Michael, Daniel, and Julianne. He is also survived by his brother Frederick and his sister in law Cathy, as well as his many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in his honor at St. Mary's Church on Saturday October 29th at 10:30am, 100 Bishop Way, in Manahawkin. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Heart Association.
