Oliver John Wallace, 89, passed away on October 18, 2020 at Deborah Heart & Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ.
Born in Orange, NJ and a resident of Toms River, NJ since 1958, Oliver was an avid fisherman, a mechanic and handyman, a collector of modern and classic movies, and enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles.
He served in the Army in Korea and Japan from 1951 to 1953 achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Oliver is predeceased by his parents, Thomas Wallace and Viola Sickler Wallace; his sister Doris Carman; and son Daniel. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sally, his son Kenneth and wife Kathy, daughter Linda Rush and husband Dave, son James, daughter-in-law Jane Burruss-Wallace; nephews Mark, Kevin and Brian Carman; grandchildren Kenny Wallace Jr. and wife Nicole, Kris Wallace and wife Stacey, Keith Wallace and wife Laurin, and Katlin Veitenheimer and husband Ray, and Erica Rush; great granchildren Gwen, Andie and Noelle Wallace; Mia and Aiden Wallace; Abiagail Wallace, Landon and Lyla Veitenheimer; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Helen and Richard Blunt and their children Richard Jr. and wife Stephanie Blunt, and Brian and wife Melissa Blunt.
Services will be held at a later date.
