Carole June Granato age 77 of Forked River, NJ was called home to Heaven on July 8, 2020. She was born on February 12,1943 in Jersey City,NJ to the late George and Margaret Bogdan.

Carole was a loving and caring Mother and Grandmother first and foremost. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with us.

Carole leaves behind her four children and their spouses James and Aileen Granato, Timmy and Lauren Hirchak, Michael Granato and TJ and Lisa Granato; Grandchildren Tyler, Rachel and Hannah; Former Husband and now friend James Granato Sr.

Our Mom was the strongest woman we ever met. She wasn't afraid of anyone or anything. She always told you the truth even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear. Unless you knew our Mom before her illness you can never understand how sad this is for her family. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Her beliefs in life were simple. Be honest ( no matter how much the truth hurt ) , and to always surround yourself with family , good food, and hot cup of coffee.
