George W. Evans Jr., formerly of Bordentown, NJ and Salisbury, MD, died on March 2, 2020 in Little Egg Harbor, NJ.
A graduate of TTI, Mr. Evans was an Engineer with Heinemann Electric Company for over 20 years and remained in the circuit breaker industry until his retirement. While employed with Heinemann, he earned a patent for his work. Mr. Evans was also a 6 year Navy Veteran honorably serving during the Vietnam War.
Son of the late George W. Evans and Vivian Costanzo, he is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Evans; his daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Gregory Everham of Philadelphia. Also, his sisters Gail Evans and Sharon Russell (David) of Bordentown, NJ. Also, nieces and nephews, Victoria Freeto, Lorraine Gilson, Michele Atwood, Matthew Atwood, Megan Cooper, Richard Bartle, Jason Bartle and Christian Bartle.
Arrangements are under the direction of Polhemus Cremation Services. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belford Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256
