Obituary of S. Paul Laugois

S. Paul Laugois 88, entered his eternal rest on February 25, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Keesville, NY and lived in Orange N.J., and enjoyed with his family the Mystic Island summer home. Finally, retiring to Jenson Beach, Fla. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Margaret Lauzon. Brother Bernard Lauzon, wife Joyce Laugois, his sons Paul Laugois and Clayton Laugois. He is survived by his children: Margo Laugois, Philip Laugois wife Lauri, Yvonne Sauer husband Kenneth, Peter Laugois wife Suzette, son Brian Laugois, Daughter in law Patsy Laugois. Grandchildren: Kenneth Sauer II, James Sauer, Amanda Modery, Andrew Laugois, Melissa Laugois, Marie Fria, Kristy Laugois. Great Grandchildren: Kaylyn, Noah, Haily and Clark. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, Carol Bottegal a friend of 20 yrs. He was a loving father and grandfather. He retired to Jensen Beach, Florida where he spent much of his time playing shuffle board, ping pong, dancing, traveling, fishing and spending time with his friends. He was a long time member of the VFW, American Legion and AmVets. He retired from South Orange/Maplewood Board of Education, where he Possessed a black seal certificate, along with being the outdoor grounds keeper. He also Worked as an electronic assembler for the Apollo 11 Mission. Paul also served in the United States Army during the Korean War. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in the name of S. Paul Laugois to the following organizations: 1. St. Regis Mohawk Tribe 71 Margaret Terrance Memorial way Akwesasne, NY 13655 2. Lakota Dakota Nakota Nation P.O. box 144 Mato Tipila (Devil's Tower), Wy 82714 A memorial service will announced at a later date. HAPPINESS IS A PLACE IN MYSTIC ISLAND!
