Obituary of Ret. TSGT. David K. Reaves Sr.

On December 17, 2018, Technical Sargent David Kenly Reaves Senior (Retired) passed in the comfort and warmth of his home surrounded by his family. David is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Mary Grace Reaves, his children David, Desmond, Christina, Crystalle, Christopher and Joshua, 16 grandchildren, his brothers Robert, Andre, Jasper and his sister Marlinda, and his mother and father Maceo and Mary Reaves of Lakeview, South Carolina.

David was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey on December 4th, 1959. David graduated class of 1978 at Pleasantville High School. After high school, David honorably served 34 years in the United States military.  Among David’s many awards and decorations, a few are: Army Good Conduct Medal with 2 devices, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon/Rifle, Southwest Asia Services Medal with 3 devices, Air Force Reserve Medal with 4 devices, and the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award.  During his spare time, David enjoyed spending time with his family, volunteering in his community, and taking pictures of his friends and family.
