Obituary of Zachary M. Wickert

Zachary MacMichael Wickert passed away Sunday October 21st after a long struggle with addiction.  Zach was born in Hoffman Estates, IL and raised in Manahawkin, NJ. He was a graduate of Southern Regional High School.

Zach had a smile like no other, he loved life and exploring Bandos with his friends.  He was an avid follower of Bass Nectar and attended many of their events. Zach had an eye for photography and was always happy on a roof top, bridge top or crane taking amazing pictures.

Zach is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Mary Wickert, brother Alexander, Grandmother Joan Wickert, Grandmother Victoria Mix, Grandfather John Lund and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.  He was predeceased by his sister, Allison, Grandfather Peter M. Wickert, Grandmother Darlene Lund, and Grandfather Jesse Mix.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Zach’s parent’s home on Saturday October 27th at 1pm.  All are welcome to come and celebrate Zach’s life

In lieu of flowers the family request a donation to The Milestone House, 60 N. Sussex St, Dover NJ 07801.  An organization that was helpful in Zach’s recovery effort.  If you know someone with addiction please urge them to seek help.
