Obituary of Lillian T. Meyer
Lillian (Wagner) Meyer of Manchester, NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her daughter on Thursday, September 27, 2018. She was born in Jersey City, NJ on August. 31, 1934 and was 84 years of age. She moved to Jackson, NJ 1962 where she lived until moving to Manchester in 2005.
She is predeceased by her late husband Howard T. Meyer, whom she married in 1957, father and mother, Andrew and Mary Wagner, her brother Andrew Wagner, sisters Anna Jordan, Irene McBride, Mary Wagner and grandson Andrew.
She is survived by her daughter Amy Meyer-Swindell, her son-in-law- Paul Swindell and their three children Joshua, Christopher and Natalie Swindell, her grandson Timothy, and her great grandsons, Logan, Lucas, Dylan, and Gavin Meyer.
She is survived by her brother, David Wagner and her sisters, Evelyn King and Gina Nelson.
Also survived by her 3 sons Howard T. Jr., David G. Sr., and Scott Meyer, her grand children, David, Kacie, Matthew, Noah, Victoria, and Madison Meyer.
She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the division of Youth and Family services for the state of NJ after raising her four children. After retiring from the state she moved on to the Jackson school system as a bus aid until she fully retired, She loved to knit, watching Monk and Golf, playing Canasta until 2 in the morning. She collected Annalee dolls which she used to decorate her Christmas tree year round on the different holidays.
Most of all she enjoyed watching her grandchildren play in all their sports (Volleyball, Bowling and Soccer) in and out of school. Her grandchildren and their friends loved how she always matched her shirt to her pants, sweat jacket right down to her socks.
