Obituary of Paul C. Cassidy

Please share a memory of Paul to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
In Loving Memory of Paul Cassidy It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Paul, who left this world on September 15, 2023, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 71 years old. Born on March 12, 1952, Paul was a loving brother, husband, brother-in-law, uncle, a devoted father, and doting grandfather. He loved nothing more than spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Theresa. He leaves behind three children, Joseph (Cait), Anne Marie (John) and Theresa (Michael) who were the center of his world. Paul was also a proud grandfather to five perfect grandchildren, Harper, Olivia, Emily, Jameson, and Michael, who were a source of immense joy. His legacy extends to four devoted sisters: Margaret, Eileen (Jim), Susan, and Judy. Their family bonds were strong, and Paul's presence was a source of strength and comfort. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Joseph. Paul's warm smile, unwavering kindness, and generous spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will continue to shine brightly in our hearts. A service to celebrate Paul's life will be on Saturday September 23rd, 2023, beginning with a greeting at 10am followed by a Mass at 11am at St. Francis of Assisi Church (4700 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, NJ 08008). The burial of ashes at St. Mary Cemetery is postponed due to inclement weather and will be resecheduled.
