Maryann R. Minchey passed away on April 18, 2026. She was born on July 29, 1943, in Trenton, New Jersey, and attended school in Westfield, New Jersey. In November 1962, after a brief courtship, she married the love of her life, James. They remained devoted to one another for 60 years until James's passing in 2022.

Maryann worked throughout her life to provide for her family and lived her life to the fullest, loving her family and friends dearly. 

She was predeceased by her husband, James; her sister, Lois Michael; her granddaughter, Kathryne; and her parents, Angelina and Enrico Lamberti.

She is survived by her son, Ed Minchey, and his wife, Dona, of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey; her daughter, Yvonne Kawaykla, of Lakeland, Florida; her sisters, Margaret Lamberti of Hammonton, New Jersey, and Angela Lamberti and her husband, Wallace, of Forked River, New Jersey; and her brother-in-law, Roger Michael, of Flemington, New Jersey. Maryann was a proud mother of two, a grandmother of five, and a great-grandmother to many, as well as a beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Maryann and James will be held together on May 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of the Pines, located at 100 Bishop Lane, Manahawkin, NJ 8050.
