Mary E. Esposito, 89, of Toms River, formerly of Tuckerton and Manville, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28th with her loving family holding her hand.
Mary had worked with Meals on Wheels, drove a bus for the seniors in Ocean County and for many years worked with her husband, Gerardo, who had his own Tailor shop in Westfield, NJ. Mary had moved to Toms River in recent years to be closer to her daughters. Mary loved car rides, sitting at the Point Pleasant inlet watching the boats and those penny slot machines in Atlantic City.
Mary is predeceased in death by her husband, Gerardo, her mother and father, Helen and Robert Johnston, her brothers, Jack and Robert, and her sister, Margaret.
Surviving are her 5 children: Carolanne Taylor, Wendy Essex, Judith Moorhead, Joyce DiSorco (Massimo) and her son, Bill Taylor. Mary is also survived by her 3 stepchildren: Lisa Nissel, Dina Brickey, and John Esposito. She is survived by her beautiful granddaughter, Isabella Rose DiSorco, her step-grandchildren Colby, John Jr., Megan, Natalie, as well as her nieces and nephew.
Cremation will be handled by Polhemus Cremation Services in West Creek, NJ. In memory of Mary, make the phone call, visit your friends and family and most of all be happy and laugh!
