Andrew J. “Andy” Jaworski

September 10, 1949 – August 28, 2025

Andrew J. Jaworski, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025. He was 75 years old.

Born on September 10, 1949 in Passaic, New Jersey, Andy was the son of Walter and Julia Jaworski. He grew up in Passaic alongside his siblings Walter (Louise), the late Robert (Pat), Catherine, and Wanda. He also became part of Kathy’s large and loving Italian family, gaining many brothers- and sisters-in-law over the years.

Andy met the love of his life, Kathy, at Passaic High School. The two were inseparable and married on October 18, 1969 at St. Nicholas Church in Passaic. For 55 years, Andy was a devoted and loving husband. Kathy’s favorite thing about him was his unmatched sense of humor—he had a gift for making everyone laugh, and to be in his presence meant leaving with a smile.

Andy dedicated 27 years of his career to Deluxe Check Printers before transitioning to a role he truly loved as a school bus driver in Wayne, NJ. Beloved by his students, he brought joy and care to every ride. After moving to South Jersey in 2006, he continued driving for the Southern Regional School District, building more cherished connections.

Above all else, Andy was a family man. He was a proud and devoted father to Michele and partner John, Scott and wife Natalie. He was “Poppy” to his adored grandchildren—Erica and husband Billy, Daniel, Emily, Alexandra, and Justin—and reveled in his role as great-grandfather to Caden and Eisley. His heart was fullest when surrounded by family, whether at big gatherings or simple moments at home. Andy also had a soft spot for animals and was loved by his nine “grand-dogs.”

Andy cherished the friendships he made throughout his life, including his beloved card buddies in Cranberry Creek, where countless evenings were spent playing cards, sharing stories, and laughing until tears fell.

Andy will be remembered for his humor, kindness, devotion, and the joy he brought to every room. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will be carried forward by all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
