Obituary of Harvey James Caldwell

Harvey James Caldwell passed away, peacefully and surrounded by his loved ones, at his home in New Gretna, New Jersey on April 4th, 2025. He was 51 years old and had a difficult fight the last few years with AL Amyloidosis and multiple myeloma. He fought hard and did not give up until the very end, if you knew him, you know how tough he was. He was born in Cape May, New Jersey on November 2nd, 1973. He loved fishing, camping, road trips, spending time with his family and cats, and all sorts of racing, RC cars, go karts, motocross, stock cars, and nascar. If it had a motor, he probably enjoyed it. Harvey worked very hard during his life, he was a mechanic, mainly, working with Mullica Township for over 10 years. After that, he worked with two other shops for a very long time, and he also enjoyed doing upgrades to his cars and home. He was many other things than just a mechanic, and if nobody could fix something, he definitely could. He taught his sons how to work on cars, as well. Harvey was the kindest, most caring, and a very humble person, he also helped so many people along his journey. He always had amazing hair and the brightest blue eyes, and almost always was seen wearing a racing hat. Harvey is survived by his wife Victoria, and many children Will, James, Alaina, Chris, Justine, Kira, and Jenna. Also his several grandchildren, Liam, Brandon, Harley, Patrick, Skyla, Iris, Kalyn, Isabella, Noelle, Raelyn, and Joseph. His mothers and father, Darlene Corson and Lee Caldwell, as well as Andrea Donlevy. His sisters and brothers, Christine Corson-Young, Rocksanne Corson, Michael Corson, and Christine Corson-Loebl, and Marc Simon, and Abigail and Josh Caplin-Caldwell and Meira Caplin-Gram. As well as, his sister and brother in law Christine and Scott Harrison. And many beloved nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles. His precious cats Sky, Monster, and Big Boy. Harvey is deceased by his children Samantha Leigh and Harvey George Caldwell, his father Harvey James Corson, his uncle Eddie Corson, his mother in laws Denise Johnson, and Ethel Joyce, father in law George Stevens, his uncles Artie, Owen, Daniel, and Norman Caldwell.
