February 5, 1954-March 3, 2025

Steven “Jocko” Csaky, 71, went home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2025. He was born as Istvan (Steven) Csaki in Budapest, Hungary, before moving to Philadelphia and eventually calling New Jersey his home. He was a devout Christian and lifelong member of Praise Tabernacle. He loved his children and grandchildren, snow, antique cars, the beach, the Ocean City boardwalk, swimming, Christmas, pies, telling stories, and the lottery.

He is predeceased by his parents, Mihaly Csaki and Rosa Weiss, brother Gyula Csaki, and his grandson Joshua Aponte.

He is survived by his son James, his beloved daughters Lisa Bond, Danielle Aponte(David), and Amy Cowperthwaite(Jason), his brother Mihaly Csaky(Ilona), his grandchildren Matthew and Luke Bond, Jordan, Julianna, and Jayce Aponte, and Tristan and Bristol Cowperthwaite, as well as two nieces.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th at 4:00 pm at JD’s Pub & Grille, 45 S New York Road Galloway, NJ.
