Kaitlin Rose Gunteski (Katie) went home on Friday, October 7th 2022.

She is celebrated by her loving parents Kathleen and Joseph Gunteski in Island Heights, New Jersey. Her siblings Erin Ritchie (husband Scott) of Sea Girt, New Jersey, Colleen Morgan (husband Jason) of Chesterfield, New Jersey, and Michael Gunteski (wife Kelly)of Brick, New Jersey. She was cherished by her eight nieces and nephews (Joshua, Gwyneth, Julia, Cecelia, Grace, Eliza, Henry and Quinn) along with loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was born and raised in Island Heights, N.J. Kaitlin was an avid snowboarder and loved music, the beach and spending time with her family . She also was a talented colorist with her own space in a New York City salon. She was a proud dog mom to her babies Margot and Olive. Her wit, sarcasm, and humor are unmatched by anyone. Kaitlin was the funniest person we knew. She touched many lives, was loved by all, and will be forever missed.

Services will be at Saint Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Toms River, New Jersey on Friday, October 14th, 2022 beginning at 3 pm. In the words of Kaitlin, there will be an after party for friends and family.
