Jesse C. Peterson Obituary

Jesse C. Peterson, of Little Egg Harbor, and formally Sea Bright, passed away at home July 12, 2022. He is survived by his sister, Wilberta and daughters Laura, Karen, Kelly, and Janet. He was the proud Pop to 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandkids. Jesse was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit in Tuckerton and sang in the church choir. He also sang in Ocean Grove in their annual Choir Festival for 10 years.


Jesse was a proud member of Teamsters Local 641 working as Head Mechanic for New Penn Trucking. He loved fishing and had a passion for skydiving, having jumped 9 times.


Jesse was a volunteer at the food pantry in Tuckerton and the food kitchen at Sister Jeans in Atlantic City. Jesse was on home hospice for his last days. He was given excellent care by Holy Redeemer, especially by Kennedy, Anne, and Lauren.


Jesse will be missed by many especially by his life companion of 21 years, Joan E. McQueeney and his favorite dog, Maggie.
