William Flanagan "Mickey" Passed away February 3, 2017 after a short battle with illness. He was born May 19, 1955 in Jersey City, NJ. He recently left his position at Atlantic Cape Community College where he was employed for the last 18 years. He was a very passionate singer and song writer behind closed doors. He was a very talented and published poet, but very humble. He was not a people person, but those he cared about, he held close and loved with his whole heart. William is predeceased by his father Joseph Flanagan, his brothers Blake and Danny Flanagan. He was loved by his wife Gloria Flanagan and daughters Christina Estok and Pamela Burdhimo; his Mother Rachael Ondus, his sister Michelle Rodriquez (David), brother Joseph Flanagan (Crystal). He leaves behind his grandchildren Dustin, Kira, Ceili, Sarah, and Jeremy; his nieces Susan Conklin (Chris), Keri Santaiti (Eric), Michelle Flanagan and his nephews Michael and Matthew Rodriguez. Memorial mass will be held at St. Theresa's Church in Little Egg Harbor, NJ on February 10, 2017 at 11am with the Funeral to follow at Brigadire William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ at 1pm with Navy Honors.
