Obituary of Celine T. Bolte

Please share a memory of Celine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Celine T. Bolte, 71, beloved wife of Walter Bolte and beloved mother to Wally Bolte, Caroline Polhemus and Regina Gushard has left us too soon in her fight with COPD on September 12, 2016. Celine was born on February 22, 1945 in Elizabeth, NJ to Helen and John Remus. After marrying her high school sweetheart she raised her family in Kinnelon, New Jersey and was last resided in Little Egg Harbor, NJ. She leaves behind four grandchildren whom she adored, Meghan Polhemus, Christopher Polhemus, Noelle Gushard and Jake Gushard. Celine also was a wonderful Mother-in-Law to Chris Polhemus and Adam Gushard. She was a dear sister to Raymond Remus and her late brother Jack Remus. She was a stay at home mother, spent time with friends, loved reading, playing Mah-Jongg and just enjoying everyday eating chocolates. She took to the latest technology of Facebook to connect with friends and loved texting her grandchildren to keep in touch. She always loved spending time at the Jersey Shore. Our hearts are broken but being a family of faith we know she is in peace. A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of the Magnificat Chapel, Miller Road, Kinnelon, NJ. on September 16th at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Celine's memory to the St. Jude Childrens' Hospital.
